Manual Lymphatic Drainage

This therapy uses light, intentional strokes to move the lymph fluid (which has often become stagnant from injuries, surgeries and lifestyles) along the lymphatic pathways to the nodes and finally kidneys. The lymphatic system is the body’s sewage system as it is responsible for removal of metabolic and acid waste.  A compromised lymph system leads to illness, dis-ease and pain. MLD gets lymphatic fluid moving up to 10x its normal pace, reducing edema, acidosis, toxin buildup and cellular waste. Clients may feel cold or flu-like symptoms after MLD and are encouraged to drink plenty water and rest. MLD is most effective when done 3 days in a row, every 4-6 months. MLD also enhances results and speeds recovery from surgeries when performed 3x pre-op and 3-5x post-op.

Chill Aromatic Alchemy- sweet, apple-like notes of chamomile are blended with sparkling citrus notes of lemon verbena and neroli blossoms, then layered with hypnotic bee balm to calm anxious thoughts, soothe nerves and promote rest.

Inspire Aromatic Alchemy- intoxicating melange of rich balsam fir needles, juicy pink grapefruit, red mandarin and mood balancing St. John’s wort to encourage self-confidence and ground emotions.

Meditation Aromatic Alchemy- sacred oils of sandalwood and frankincense are blended with grounding ginger root, clove, cardamom and sweet orange to promote clarity and practice mindfulness.
